Our mission is simple:

Choosing Alpalove means choosing more than just a product—it’s embracing a lifestyle that values well-being,
sustainability, and timeless comfort.
Whether you're wrapping yourself in one of our cozy throws or crafting with our premium yarns, you're part of a movement that celebrates nature, ethical craftsmanship, and the joy of truly luxurious fiber.
Our modern basics embody quality and sustainability.
Our History
Alpalove was born from a simple but powerful idea: that comfort should have meaning. We began by partnering with trusted producers in Peru who combine generations of textile expertise with sustainable and small-scale manufacturing.
Each piece—from duvets to throws and yarns—reflects this partnership: a balance between Peruvian craftsmanship, modern design, and environmental responsibility.

By supporting local production in Peru, we help strengthen small businesses and preserve a heritage of high-quality alpaca products recognized around the world.
Our roots remain in the Andes, where every detail is made by skilled hands.

Our values
We work under Fair Trade principles, ensuring transparency, fair pay, and respect for every artisan and supplier involved in our process.

Every Alpalove piece is produced in small batches, with attention to detail, durability, and timeless design. We believe true luxury lies in quality, not excess.

By producing locally in Peru, we contribute to economic growth and responsible industry practices, while our U.S. base allows us to share these sustainable alpaca home products with a global audience.

We believe customers deserve to know where their products come from. Every Alpalove item carries a traceable origin and a story of integrity.

Our textiles combine functionality with feeling—high-quality alpaca bedding and throws created to bring natural warmth and beauty into your home.
ALPACAS

WHO THEY ARE?
Alpacas are friendly animals that inhabit the Peruvian Andes above 3,500 meters, where
their fiber enables them to thrive in rugged climate conditions.
They have been part to Peruvian history since early Pre-Incan civilizations, playing a significant role in textiles and transportation during the Inca Empire.
Today, they remain crucial to the textile industry, which is the primary income source for
alpaca breeders. Peru is home to an estimated 3.5 million alpacas.

ALPACA FIBER
Alpaca fiber is renowned for its thermal properties and softness. These physical characteristics enable the production of versatile and durable products.
It is ideal for home goods due to its thermal properties, among others.
Each alpaca can yield approximately 2.5 to 4 kg of usable fiber per year, with about 40% of this fiber qualifying as Baby Alpaca.

WHY WE LOVE THEM?
Alpacas are not only friendly and adorable animals but also convey a sense of peace and affection once you get to know them.
They also contribute to the sustainability of their environment by carefully tending to their land, minimizing soil disruption and requiring only modest amounts of water and pasture.
These animals come in nine pure colors, which can be blended to create an impressive palette of 22 natural yarn colors—the largest variety among natural fibers.
Additionally, their fiber has low lanolin content, reducing the water required for processing.
These qualities are just a few reasons why we adore them.
